Our Rich History
Isaiah T. Landes Plumbing and Heating was established by Isaiah T. Landes himself. HVAC was a later addition.
In 1933, Isaiah’s son Henry (below) joined the family business then renamed I.T. Landes & Son. The main focus of the company was, and always will be, ”in the complete satisfaction of our customers.”
Growing from 1 to 27 employees, we became a corporation.
Our first showroom was built in an ITL garage bay.
IT Landes led a job where air conditioner units were lifted via helicopter onto the roof of Furniture Unlimited in Quakertown.
December 22nd, 1996 – A devastating flood left an attic sprinkler frozen, which broke and destroyed nearly everything.
A tin shop was added to our facilities.
On June 12th, 2006, Henry (ITL’s 2nd generation) passed away.
On August 1st, 2014, we merged with HB McClure and became an employee-owned ESOP.
Our residential department split off and rebranded as IT Landes Home Service Team allowing IT Landes to concentrate on large commercial projects. Our biggest commercial job to date is $11 million, representing our company’s growth compared to $10,000 contracts in ITL’s early days.
Today, we remain at the same location since the very beginning and have over 75 service vehicles.
